I have been doing I Heart Sketches from their beginning.

Every Monday morning I head over to their site

and print the sketch of the week.

Imagine my surprise when is the winner from last week.

ME!!! 

Everyone entering gets $1 towards any image they want.

Your choice. 

Now here is this week's sketch

Here is what I did with the sketch.

I used an old Designed to Delight

(now known as From the Heart Stamps).

I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the daffodils

and the rest is colored with Copic Markers.

I added a Daffodil cut on my Cricut,

and a sentiment.

And every card should have a little sparkle..

Cotton Candy Stickles to the top of the pots.

Its nice to see how one color Stickle can change when you put it on

something you already colored.

4" x 4" Birthday

I made this card for a couple of different challenges.

I used the sketch from Fat-tastic Tuesday

Here is that sketch.

At Fat-tastic Tuesday, 

You project must be 4" x 4"...

either a card or a fat page.

My plan is to do the challenges here at Fat-tastic Tuesday

and make them into a book.

Here is what I did with this sketch.

I used designer paper from my stash.

I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers.

I won at All That Stickles 

and received Tear Drops and Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.

I used the Gumball Dew Drops on the left side of the card.

The corners of the image has dots of Cotton Candy Stickles.

Polka Dots and Lace

Who doesn't like Polka dots and Lace?

Here is what I came up with for this challenge.

The image is Flower Power Basket of Flowers by Digital Delights.
The paper is from Doodle Pantry.
The lace is from Pizzazz Aplenty.
The flowers were cut on my Cricut.
I sprayed the flowers with Pearl Glimmer Mist.  
In each corner of the card and one corner of the image,
I added a drop of Liquid Pearls.
The centers of the flowers have Icicle Stickles.
The ribbon was from my stash.

Progressive and I Heart Sketches

Challenges

Over at From the Heart, there are 2 challenges.

A monthly Progressive Challenge

and 

a weekly sketch challenge.

The Progressive Challenge starts on the first of the month now.

And the first being Monday, the new sketch is out.

Whenever possible I like combining the challenges.

This was easy to do this time. 

Here is how things work...

On the progressive challenge, 

if you entered the previous month's challenge, 

the next image is emailed to you.

If you didn't do the previous month's challenge, 

no fear.

You can purchase the image, 

enter this month's challenge, 

and next month the new image will be emailed to you.

Here is the sketch for this week. 

The challenge is to make a square card.

Here is my card...

Such a cute image.

I used paper from my stash.

The DP was 2 sided so I used the back of the paper for the strips of paper going across the card.

Added some American Craft Glitter Tape to the strips as well.  

I added some Twine to the side of the card.

The flower is cut on my Cricut and sprayed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.

I also cut the ovals out on the Cricut.

The sentiment came with the image,

Flower Pot Chick. 

I added a touch of yellow Stickles to the center of the flowers.

I have also entered this card in..

All that Stickles...must use Yellow Stickles.
