CWLC # 42 Ribbon and Lace

My turn to host the challenge,
and I have chosen
Ribbons and Lace.

Our sponsor this week is

I used Milk Coffee's
Bride and Groom.
May, 2014, my daughter is getting married.
I used this image to create a gift box.
At this point I am not sure what will go it in...
but I have a year to come up with something.

Kelly's wedding colors are black, white and purple,
so I went with the white and purple.
The scalloped oval was cut on my Cricut.
The lace, resin flower, and flat back rhinestones are from Pizzazz Aplenty.
And on every project there shall be a little sparkle.
The centers of the flowers have Purple Stickles on them.

You have till Saturday, May 25, 2013,
9 PM,
to get your project in.

Hope to see your project.

JAMS

I used to be in a Yahoo Group, ATC World.  I guess I am still in their JAMS database.  I don't recall JAMS stand for...sorry.  The way it works is anyone interested in doing JAMS makes 3 base cards.  They send all 3 to someone in the database.  That person adds an image and mails them off to a third person, who embellishes them, keeps one and then mails them to the other 2 people.  Although I am not part of the group any more, I wanted to follow through on them....so I completed them.

Here is the finished cards.
I added the red butterfly and the crocheted flower.  I added Cotton Candy Stickles to the center of the flowers.

Fat Page...Flowers

I love fat pages.  I found a GREAT challenge site that is all about the Fat Pages....Fat-tastic Tuesday.  They have a new challenge every 2 weeks.  Fat pages are little works of art...that are 4" x 4".

This fortnight (I love that word!!) its about May flowers and there is a sketch.

Here is the sketch...

I turned it on its side...and came up with this....

The flower and the butterfly are from Floppy Latte.  The butterfly by itself is part of an image from Delicious Doodles...It was part of a frame with a butterfly.  I added some American Craft Glitter Tape and some Cotton Candy Stickles.  The butterflies have glue dots and are up off the paper a little.

This fat page is now the back of the one I did last week.  I have added a piece of paper to the side so I can punch holes in it so I can bind them together.  The opposite side has not been glued, so I can put the tag in between the pages so I have a reference as to what I made.

Now here is this week's sketch
wpid-Photo-Mar-22-2013-853-PM.jpg

Here is what I did with the sketch.

I used an old Designed to Delight
(now known as From the Heart Stamps).
I used Prismacolor Pencils to color the daffodils
and the rest is colored with Copic Markers.
I added a Daffodil cut on my Cricut,
and a sentiment.
And every card should have a little sparkle..
Cotton Candy Stickles to the top of the pots.
Its nice to see how one color Stickle can change when you put it on
something you already colored.

I have also entered this in...

4" x 4" Birthday

I made this card for a couple of different challenges.
See the list below.

I used the sketch from Fat-tastic Tuesday
Here is that sketch.

At Fat-tastic Tuesday,
You project must be 4" x 4"...
either a card or a fat page.
My plan is to do the challenges here at Fat-tastic Tuesday
and make them into a book.

Here is what I did with this sketch.

I used designer paper from my stash.
I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers.
and received Tear Drops and Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.
I used the Gumball Dew Drops on the left side of the card.
The corners of the image has dots of Cotton Candy Stickles.

Thanks for stopping by.

I Heart Sketches

I love From the Heart Stamps
and every week they do a sketch challenge.
Here is this week's sketch.

Here is what I did with the sketch.

The image is Let's be Neighbors from
From the Heart.
The paper is from my stash.
The 2 papers looked like they would go together great
but when I put it together they were to similar in color
and you couldn't see where one paper ended and the next started.
So I chalked the edges of the flowered paper and the image.
I added some Stickles to the corners of the image...it was the perfect color.

I also entered this card in...
Crafter's Digital Art Center...Anything Goes.
