Some time off

It sure was busy before the holidays with all the Design Team work.  It is really nice to have some time off right now.  Or so it seems...just cause you don't see posting anything at the moment, doesn't  mean I am not working on anything.  I am working on items for all 3 design teams and once the New Year rolls around you will see some new releases, and lots of fun from all 3 artists.

NettieG's Challenge #3

Wow another week has passed again.

Did you enjoy Mary and Baby Jesus?
The most fitting image I have seen for the Christmas Holiday.

Being the day before Christmas, I took this wreath and did a little something different to it.  My Christmas cards were done and in the mail.  Since there were no embellishments on the wreath, I thought it could be used for any occasion.  So it's my first Valentine's Day Card!!

Can't wait to see what you come up with.  Be sure to link your project up to NettieG's Digital Gem's Challenge Blog by 11:59 PM EST December 31, 2010.

Can you believe it has been a week already!!  Time for the next step in NettieG's progressive challenge.  If you took part in last week's challenge, making a project with the Sewing Tree, I emailed you the new image.  If you didn't take part last week, no fear, you can stop by NettieG's Store and purchase it.

The new image is....

Mary and Baby Jesus

What a fitting image for the week before Christmas!!

Now I have seen next week's image.  It's free!!  Just make a project using Mary and Baby Jesus nby Thursday, December 23, 2010 at 11:59 PM EST and I will email you the new image.

Delightful Inspirations Weekly Challenge

This week's challenge at Delightful Inspirations was fun.  A sliding polar bear!!  How cute is he.  I took him and used some Arleen's Glitter Snow as a base for him to slide on and of course the snow was falling too, to make it more fun.  I thought this would be a cute little note card to send off to my daughter in mid January.  Of course she is in Alabama so about the only snow she will see is on this card.  LOL.

HappiLeigh's Scrappin

Well I am mentioned a bit ago I won the first week's challenge for HappiLeigh's Scrappin Challenge.  Well I am honored to say, Leigh is putting a design team together and I will be part of the design team.  Come the first week of January, I will no longer be taking part in the challenges.  Is it January yet?

Guylou's Christmas Card Challenge

I love this image from Guylou at Guylou's Inimitability.  This is Chuck sledding and he looks to me like he is about to knock over a bunch of kids on that sled.  He has a evil grin on his face.

I cut some snowflakes with my Cricut and then Stickled them.  The paper is from DCWV's jumbo stack 'Tis the Season.  And I have used Arleen's Glitter Snow in front of the sled.  This is a fun card.

Happileigh's Doodles

Well another week as passed, and I have to say I was shocked to be the first place winner HappiLeigh Scrappin challenge last week.  I used the freebie this week and created this fun card.  Nice break from Christmas cards, which I am happy to say, other than 2 more challenges, I have my cards done.

With this card, I used some ribbon and tiny flowers that were a random act of kindness from a friend far away.  And the flowers in the corner are from Pizzazz Aplenty.  Nice to think spring time flowers when winters here.

NettieG's First Blog Challenge

We have waited all week and it is finally here.

NettiG has a wonderful free image.  A Sewing Tree.  What a super image to use on a Christmas Card for the Crafter in your life.  Since we are crafters I know we know crafters.

I used some White Buckingham Lace from Pizzazz Aplenty
Paper is from 'Tis the Season Stack by DCWV
                   Red ribbon is from Michaels
Buttons and star brad was from my stash

I hope you will join me over at NettieG's and make her first Challenge a huge success!!

Delightful Inspirations

Brand new month, Brand new digi from Delightful Inspirations.  This week's image is Poinsettia.  One of my favorite Christmas images.  A couple of weeks ago, my cousin and I chatted about our favorite Christmas images and we said we would send each other a Christmas card with one and try to see if we would come up with different images.  Tune it to see if she sends me something different.  :)

GlitterBabe and Pizzazz Aplenty

Today I am a Guest Design Team Member for GlitterBabe and come January I will be full time Design Team Member, and I am so excited. Have you seen Stef's images? If not, you should. And as the name says everything has glitter. Remember me, the Glitter Queen a while back. Everything I made had glitter on it...what a match made in heaven. Now ya'll can just guess where I found Stef. Crafter's Digital Art Center, of course.

Today's challenge. A Christmas card with no red and no green. Do you have any idea how hard that is?? Take a look at this SnowMan. Isn't he cute? Well he had holly on his hat. I fixed that!! Thanks to this week's sponsor, Pizzazz Aplenty, I put 3 silver rhinestones where the holly was...got rid of the red and green!! Aren't the reindeer cute!!! They, too, are from Pizzazz Aplenty. Paper is from Michaels and of course there is glitter around they picture and in the buckle on the hat.

I want to take a moment and tell you all about Judy at Pizzazz Aplenty. Customer service is GREAT. I placed an order, she had it out the next day, emailed me with the delivery confirmation number. When I got it I was amazed at how well packaged everything was. From now on, I am buying my bling and pizzazz from the comfort of my craft room and not the craft store!!!

Hope you liked my card. See ya'll soon!

All Dressed Up

Had you thinking, did I? No I am not all dressed up. Silly. My and jeans are as dressed up as this gal gets these days. It's the sentiment I used on this cute card!! Isn't the digi cute?!?! It's a Tiffany Doodles image and is the image to be used in the new embellishment challenge over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. Every 2 weeks CDAC does a new round of 5 challenges. The embellishment challenge this round is simple. Use the snowlady image and a sentiment. Snowlady is All Dressed Up and Ready for the Holidays...are you?

Mixed Artists

I learned how to take images and layer then together this week. So this is an image from Delightful Inspirations and 2 images from Nana Vickie. Just a quick simple little note card.

Light Box

A while back I was chatting with some friends over on Crafter's Digital Art Center (have I told you lately how much I love CDAC) how pictures of our cards don't look as good as the cards do IRL (in real life). Well the talk then turned to cameras and light boxes and a website was given on how to make an inexpensive light box. It looked fairly easy and I know my dear sweet hubby could put something together like this, so I mentioned it to him. He said, sure, as long as he had the directions. So off I went, pulled the site up, hit print, stapled it and put it by his chair to read. He said it wouldn't be a problem. Of course small pushes were needed, but he did it. Here is the picture.

Told I share my room with storage. LOL. The most expensive part is the clamp light. All of $7. Box was free. Larry gave up a white T-shirt...such a sweetie. The display easel is from the dollar store. The had 4 and I couldn't make up my mind, so Larry said just take all 4 will ya. Ok no problem. LOL.

This is the first picture I took using the light box...then realized I needed to take care of the inside of the box.

There is a better picture after putting the white paper on the inside of the box. Of course I was off center, but I needed to get going and I still have a few things I am need to work out. But even at this, the pictures are much better. I hope I have inspired you! If I can do this, so can you.

NettieG's First Challenge

It's Thursday and it's NettieG's first challenge. NettieG is a sweet lady who has been an artist for years and she has just recently went digital. She is one of the newest artists at Crafter's Digital Art Center. (See new stuff happening over there all the time...if you aren't a member, you need to be).

On to the challenge...NettieG's Digital Gems Blog very first challenge. NettieG is sharing this free image which has been a family favorite since 1990!! The challenge is colors...blue, brown and purple (which is NettieG's favorite color!!). Being that is December I was stuck on this being a Christmas image and I thought blue and purple aren't Christmas colors. How on earth am I going to make this work??? So I worked up 2 at the same time...one in the blue, purple and brown and the other in grey, red and brown, which is what NettieG said she was trying so hard not to say. Well I couldn't get it out of my head. In the end, even as a Christmas card, I love the blue and purple. But you should use Candy's spin on it. Not a Christmas card!! And I can see myself using it as she did.

Now if you love this image...which how can you not?...be sure to stop by NettieG's Store and check out all her images. And since the image we used in our cards is FREE (gotta love them freebies) I wanna see your cards in the challenge!!!

New Friend, New Blog, New Challenge, New Group on CDAC

I had the pleasure of meeting and becoming friends with Leigh. She is a very talented artist, who has started a new blog Happileigh Scrappin' and has her very first challenge. And to top it off she now has a group on CDAC!!! Now if ya'll been following me, you know my love for CDAC. Now this challenge is a bit different cause members vote on the winners. How fun is that?? I can't wait to see everyone's cards!!! I used the FREE (you know I love 'e, freebies) digi for this challenge. Isn't that teddy just adorable!!!

NettieG's Digital Gem Blog Design Team

NettieG is a wonder artist and she not only has gone digital but she is starting a Challenge Blog and I am on her Design Team. Her first challenge will Thursday, December 2, 2010!! So be sure to check it out at NettieG's Digital Gem Blog. It promises to be fun!

Crafter's Digital Art Center Free Digi Challenge

One last challenge at Crafter's Digital Art Center. This one is the Free Digi Challenge. Yeap you read it right...FREE digi. And it is even better, there are several free digis to choose from. This is my favorite. Chuck Sledding for Guylou's Inimitabitily. The paper was so fitting. In front of the sled G (as we lovely call Guylou) had droplets of snow flying up in front of the sled. Well it was so hard not to color them when coloring the sled, so I took my glitter snow (not that it glitters much) and put there...problem solved....opps I meant to say embellishment added. Then I added some snowflakes I cut with the Cricut and Stickled them. Now how cute is this!!!

Sugar Our African Grey

Over on Crafter's Digital Art Center we were chatting about pets and of course I had to talk about Sugar. (oh did I tell you about the great friendships you find over on CDAC...we have a ball chatting about this and that) Sugar is an African Grey who loves my hubby and hates me. She was given to us 3 years ago. She was owned by 2 guys, when they broke up one of them got custody of Sugar and he went from working at home to working 2 jobs out of the home and Sugar started plucking her feathers. This is actually common in birds when they are stressed, sick, or just bored. The owner thought Sugar would do better in a home where someone was home all the time. Well I am home all the time but she just doesn't like me. But boy she loves Larry as you can see by this picture. She never did give up feather plucking. Her chest is bare as well as the top of wings and she will rip out her wing feathers. Many times once they start plucking it becomes habit and that is what the vet feels Sugar has done.

One More Crafter's Digital Art Center Challenge

Well it looks like I will get all 5 challenges done at Crafter's Digital Art Center. One more after this one!! I am telling freebie digi's!! This digi is from Make it Crafty and the challenge was to add something to the digi. I added the elves. After all what is an Elf House without elves!!

A Card Maker's Rights

A friend had shared this with a bunch of us. It seems so much of it is so true.

A card touches us – somehow, a small folded piece of paper can comfort, celebrate, reach out or just say hello. Creating a handmade card is an honorable and important task.

As a cardmaker, you are entitled (but not limited) to the following rights:
  • You have the right to take as long as you want to complete one handmade card. This may be five minutes or two weeks.
  • You have the right to send a card for no other reason than to show off your new stamp, embellishment or technique.
  • You have the right to create a fabulous card for your husband, partner or roommate – just because you know it will stay in your house.
  • You have the right to spread your cardmaking things out all over, just to admire them.
  • You have the right to purchase a certain cardmaking item for no other reason than because a) you like it; b) you think it's cute; c) you'll never find it again, or; d) you know you'll use it someday.
  • You have the right to reserve using your most precious supplies on cards only for recipients who will truly appreciate them.
  • You have the right to a workspace of your own. This may be the basement, your college student's old bedroom or the kitchen table.
  • You have the right to make cards when inspiration strikes – whether the dishes are done or not.
  • You have the right to request peaceful, kid-free, stress-less cardmaking time - guilt-free.
  • You have the right to let the handmade card be the gift, too.
  • You have the right to value your personal style.
  • You are creating a treasure - and part of that treasure is you.

Another Crafter's Digital Art Center Challenge

Yeap...this is the 3rd one I have done. Not sure I will get all 5 done by Wednesday. This is Crafter's Digital Art Center's Embellishment Challenge. Again we were given the digi...there you go another FREE Digi!!...and we were told to add ribbon and a paperclip. Yeap you read it right a paperclip...who would have thought of a paperclip on a card. But it is cute isn't it!! The image is great!! It is from DigiStamps 4 Joy. Now I don't normally do fairies, but I have to say, I do love this one. And I know just who will be getting this card for their birthday.

Granny Claus

WooHoo. My card I showed earlier. Granny Claus as I like to call her. Well she is one of the featured cards today over at Crafter's Digital Art Center!!

Crafter's Digital Art Center Challenges

Now ya'll know I love challenges. Did you know every month Crafter's Digital Art Center (CDAC) has challenges? Five challenges a month!! Five challenges all listed in one place on the main page and that isn't talking the challenges the artists have themselves. There is a challenge wall where you can feel a bunch of challenges listed by weekdays.

I worked on 2 challenges this weekend. Oh how I wish I was like Theresa who could crank out a bunch of cards!!!!

The first is the color challenge. We were supplied with the super cute snowman digi from Jane at Stamping Bee (gotta love freebie digi's) and told we could only use the colors white, blue and grey. Well you know me. I push the rules a bit and used several shades of blue. Pop a brad on his nose, used the Cricut and cut some snowflakes, added a quick sentiment and did my ribbon flower with a white brad. Now how cute is that.

The second is the sketch challenge. We were again supplied with a lovely digi of granny and showing off her holiday spirit from Toni at The Digi Shack (another free digi). And as always with sketch challenges we were given a sketch to inspire us. Well I decided since granny was in the spirit and love the glitter (after all I am a GlitterBug...although this isn't a GlitterBabe challenge) I would glitter this card up big time. Granny's hat apron, cupcakes, shoes, and slip (yes even her undergarments) and the 3 flakes (again I used my Cricut) are Stickled!!

Now I am sure ya'll wonder what happened with me and 365 Cards. Well they did a week of Vintage. I know challenges are about getting us to do something we don't normally do and I did Sunday's Vintage sketch, but I don't have the supplies for Vintage and much rather focus my money on things I do enjoy so I opted out of this past week's 365 Cards. I am now taking on a Christmas project for gifts to some fellow bowlers so I may not get back to 365 Cards till after the holidays. We will have to see how things go.

GlitterBabe Challenge

As I mentioned the other day, I have a Guest Design Team spot over at GlitterBabe's. So I decided to do her challenge. This was a cute one. I decided with the image I chose to go CAS. With my anniversary 2 days away, I thought this was perfect for anniversary card. My poor hubby is getting 3 cards now...and there are still 2 days to go :)

365 Cards Sunday Sketch

Wow it is going to be a fun week at 365 Cards. Today is blog hop. You have to collect ingredients from each blog which you will then use on Saturday's card. There will be a total of 11 items and looking at the first 5 it will be a challenge indeed.

Here is today's sketch It was fun. The theme all week is vintage, which isn't me so once again stepping out of that comfort zone...learning new things. :)

365 Cards, Doodle Pantry and some good stuff

I have done it. I am finally caught up. It's been a busy week. It's Sunday Morning but I can start Sunday with a clean palette. Yay!!

First lets do the card. For 365 Cards Day 265 it was Super Stretchy Saturday. Something that stretchs. Well bird's wings stretch. Ok so it is a little stretch LOL. But it fits for me. And the images are from the Doodle Pantry and fit their second challenge...use their image and have foliage.

Ok some of the good stuff. I have had a Secret Santa and a Guardian Angel this week.

Earlier this week, I received a package. In it was a Xryon 500, a refill cartridge and a craft knife. This person had remembered while chatting that I had spoken of issues with glueing items, and had sent me a Xryon. And she remembered I broke my craft knife and sent a new one along, too.

Friday I was asked to be Guest Design Team member for Glitterbabes. Well I have a Guardian Angel who spoke to the owner who looked my work over and invited me to be GDT. I can't wait to take on this new venture!!

The week has had ups and downs and I am so happy that it is ending on an high.

Still Running Behind

Yea I am still a day behind on 365 Cards but I took care of Delightful Inspirations and Double Delightful as well. :)

For 365 Cards...yesterday was a tri fold card, which I had never done before. Surprise it was easier than I thought. I love it when I get to do things I wouldn't do otherwise. I can see myself doing this again.

For Delightful Inspirations...Faith's next image in the progress challenge (remember how that works..get an image free the first Friday of the month, create a project and link to their webiste and then get a new image the following Friday, etc. If you don't do a project you can always buy the image in her store) is a skating penguin. He is so cute. Be sure to stop by and see her other new images. I also added last week's image Kaela. :)

For Double Delightful...you use the image from Delgihtful Inspirations and add something. This week was snowflakes. Easily done when you have snowflake brads in your stash. :)

365 Cards Day 263

I am still behind but catching up quick over at 365 Cards...after I take a nap of course. No not me. Yesterday's theme was Naptime. I knew instantly what image I was going to use. This image is from Nana Vickie over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. I decided to go CAS (Clean and Simple). A way to catch up and I thought it really didn't need much more to it.

365 Cards and Phindy's Place Challenge

I am betting you thought I took a day off from 365 Cards. Nope. This card took me a while to do. This was called setting the scene. So not only did have to make a scene on the outside but it had to set the stage for what was going on inside the card. This took some work. Placement of the window, making the siding on the outside. This card was work and several hit the trash before this one finally hit the finished pile. :) The kittens inside is a Phindy's Place Image which fits their Christmas challenge for the week

365 Cards Day 261

Today's challenge at 365 Cards was a simple one so I am going to keep the blog simple too.

Guylou's Inimitability Thanksgiving Challenge

Over at my favorite to hang out Guylou's Inimitabity on Crafter's Digital Art Center, G (as we all call her) has a Thanksgiving challenge on her blog and this is my entry. I went with the bling since I had it so much of it from the Make a Wish Swap at Cricut Chatter.

Dude Time Doodles

Boni over at Bonibleaux Designs Digis has this great challenge blog called Dude Time Doodles. Boni fills that big hole in the digi world. Digi's for the guys in our lives. She is having her month challenge for Guest Design Team member and this is my entry. My fairy godmother might recognize her flowers and I used my new Xyron from my secret Santa.

365 Cards Day 260 and Mojo Monday

LOVE it when 2 challenges come together as one. I knew the digi's I was going to use for 365 Cards but didn't know how I was going to lay them out. Well I remember it was MONDAY which means a new MoJo Monday Sketch and I love them sketches.

365 Cards challenge was interesting and something I would have never thought of...that's the reason I love the challenges. Make a card using PART of 2 stamps. I completely colored the birdie and then ran him through the Cricut and cut part of him. I also used part of one sentiment and all of another. The image and sentiment are from Doodle Pantry. Laura has such wonderful images!!

Pattie's Creations

Well I found yet another artist I love over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. Pattie from Pattie's Creations!! Her current challenge included 2 (yes I said TWO) freebies to be used to make a birthday card. Never hurts to have some birthday cards on hand. This was fun and I played around with the shading a bit.

Sunday, November 14, 2010

365 Cards Day 259

It's Sunday which means Super Sunday Sketch Day at 365 Cards. I love Sketches!! I saw this one and knew just what I was going to do. My daughter, Kelly, is in college and loves to read. I am making her book markers. So this fits right in there and gives me ideas for more. Gotta love that!!

The digi is from Nana Vicki and was a Vicki Quicki a couple of months ago. Nana Vicki is another artist I found over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. If you haven't checked it out, I'm telling you, you ought to. You are missing out on the fun!!

Delightful Inspirations

Today I won't go into the how to do the Progressive Challenge at Delightful Inspirations because I did that yesterday. When I saw this digi from Faith, Kaela playing the part of an angel, I knew I had to do her pinks and non-traditional Christmas colors and have the card receiver in mind. :)

I played around with GIMP today too and learned how to crop pictures....must say I like this look. :)

Bugaboo

I know...you are sitting there going what did she just say? Yeap I said Bugaboo. I bet you are trying to figure out what on earth Bugaboo is. Well you know me, right? So it has to be something about cards...right? Yeap, it is digital stamps. Bugaboo Stamps. Guess what the challenge blog is called. Catch the Bug!! Well ya'll know I got the stamping bug. This is the first challenge I have done of their's and it is a sketch...which you know I am all about the sketch!! So here is a Thinking of You card great for someone in the middle of winter.

365 Cards Day 258

Well I have completed another week at 365 Cards. It was a close call there when I didn't have any ink to blow, but hubby saved the day.

Today at 365 Card it's Day 258 and it's Tone on Tone. Simple but sweet. Green A2 card, green Christmas tree with green Stickle and white Stickle for on the star. How cute is that!!

Double Delightful

Got to love Delightful Inspirations Progressive Challenge on Friday. Then on Saturday you get Double Delightful.

In case you don't know how this works...

The first of the month Faith at Delightful Inspirations has a first digi for. Make a project with that digi, link it to the challenge blog by Thursday night 11:59 pm and she will email you a new FREE digi. Use that digi make a project, link it to the challenge blog....and on it goes.

Then on Saturday over at Double Delightful, you take the digi of the week from Delightful Inspirations and they add a twist to it. Add something more to the card.

Didn't do last week's project. Don't have this week's digi...not problem you can hop over to Faith's store and buy it and play along and next week get a free digi!!

Now where do I find all these great challenges. At Crafter's Digital Art Center where there are 65 artists. There are challenges there on the CDAC community and many of the artists have their own challenge blogs as well.

Ok this card is Kaela. Such a sweet angel. I had asked why some stamps don't have a mouth such as this one. Thre are many answers. It could be angels don't talk. It could be the eyes tell the story. And the one I like the most...once you draw the mouth, the digi takes on a different look. If you were to color 10 of these and put mouths on each them, they would all end up looking different. So it is the artist who would set what the digi looks like. So why have I left her with no mouth. I have decide to wait till I know I am sending this card to. Over at Double Delightful, the twist is add sparkle. The halo is gold Stickle and the cuff of the sleeves and neck is white Stickle.

365 Cards Day 257

11th day of the month and still going strong with 365 Cards. Today is Day 257 (boy imagine if I had started with them) and the challenge was Warm and Cozy. Well Watch Dog from Designed2Delight came to mind. While the dear sweet dog is sleeping all warm and cozy, company is coming. Wonder if the dog will wake up or if company will come and go without the Watch Dog waking up?

Christmas Stressful?

When I saw this digi over at Stampfairy on CDAC I knew just want I was going to do with it. And you know what.? The digi was a freebie. If you haven't checked Crafter's Digital Art Center out, I am telling you, you are missing out. Freebies, Challenges, Chat with friends, Chat with the ARTISTS...yeap you get to chat with the people who make these digi's. There is even an area where you can request a digi. If someone has what you are looking for they will let you know. And you never know who might just make you what you are looking for.

Ok back to my card. 365 Cards Day 256 stamping with color. Well when you are a digital stamper, that is done easily enough :/

365 Cards Day 255

When I read this challenge, I knew I was done in hubby's challenge to get a month's worth of 365 Cards done. Well when I told him, he said nope, and we went shopping.

First the image is from Boni, who is a new artist, who I found over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. Stop by and check her group out.

I am not super pleased with the way it turned out, but it will do.

365 Cards Day 254 And Delighful Inspirations

Day 9 I had completed a week of challenges at 365 Cards and DH said I had a good start on the month. So I am working on it.

This card uses an image from Faith in the progressive challenge at Deligthful Inspirations. This is now the second image I have done with OMS and I am impressed. I am really liking it.

The challenge at 365 Cards is to do whatever Wishes inspirits you. Well I wish my kids were here for Thanksgiving. So it was an easy one.

At Delightful Inspitations you make a project with Faith's image by deadline and she will send you a free image to be used the following week. How cool is that!!

Dude Time Doodles 365 Cards and Crafter's Digital Art Center

Wow what a title all for one card...and I didn't add Larry's birthday. This image is a from a new artist that I found over at Crafter's Digital Art Center. Have you been to CDAC...if I haven't mentioned it lately let me take a quick moment. It is a community of almost 4000 members and 66 artists. Each artist has their own group. There are tips, tutorials, challenges, friendship and much more.

So I had Boni over at CDAC. She is a new artist and you can see her images on her store site and she has a Challenge Blog...called Dude Time Doodles. Like the title. If you haven't guess from it, she does images for the guys in our lives. This guy is named Plumber Pete. Boni's first challenge was a sketch. And it was my first attempt with some better coloring and shading with OMS.

He also fits 365 Cards day 253 which is a color scheme.

365 Cards Day 252

I told dear sweet Larry I had finished the week's worth of cards for 365 Cards and he said great...now you have a good start on the month don't you? So we will see just how far this takes me. I am sure at some point in time there will be a challenge and I won't have the right supplies for, but we will see. Here is Day 252 Sunday Super Sketch.

365 Cards Day 251 Fall Flourish and Delightful Inspiration

This card is doing double duty too. For 365 Days it is Fall Flourish Day 251. This was easy. Use at least 3 flourishs...well there are 4 corners ..LOL And the paper helped to with some flourish of it's own.

The digi is a Designed to Delight and is part of Faith's progressive challenge at Delightful Inspirations. The first Friday of the month, Faith offers a free digi to the first 500, I do believe. Make a project with the digi, link it to her challenge and the next Friday she will email you a new digi. If you miss out, you can always get into the game by buying the present digi, and make a project and link it up. If you play every week you get a new digi every week!!

365 days Day 250 Challenge Combo

365 Cards is such a great way to up your skills not only are they making you think to do a challenge...they throw days in like Day 250 which is a Challenge Combo. I had to take a challenge from August, September and October and combine them into one card. Wow that took some thinking.

So...August 8 Day 161 Sketch

Septemeber 21 Day 205 Scent of something you love...Its Christmas and it's Pine trees. Have them in the background paper and have them in the color of the sketch.

October 21 Day 235 Pick 3. I thought this would be easy. I would put 3 bows, 3 brads, easy peasy right. Well as I was coloring the digi, I realized most of the holly berries are in groups of 3. So I went a more suttle route on the 3's.
