Digi Darla's
Challenge #13
Let's Celebrate

Happy Memorial Day!!  I hope you have taken time to salute, thank, say a prayer for or just think about the men and women who have given their all our country and freedom.

Digi Darla's challenge this weeks is prefect for the week of Memorial Day.  Let's Celebrate.  After all not only are we celebrating our nations heroes this week but it is the unoffical start to summer.

This week our sponsor is Bugaboo.

Now you can use any image you wish, using the Let's Celebrate theme (and you can use any celebrations you wish).  BUT if you want to a chance at winning anything, you MUST use a Digi Darla image.

Now this week I did manage to get 2 cards done.

Bugaboo's
Theodore Birthday Sign

And
Digi Darla's
Dancing Gramps

I hope to see your project in this week's Let's Celebrate Challenge

Hugs, love and prayers

Digi Darla Challenge #12 Anything Goes using this Sketch

Digi Darla's
Challenge #12
Anything Goes...using this Sketch

It's Monday again and time for another Digi Darla challenge.  This time, it's Anything Goes...using this sketch.

Now you can use any image you wish...BUT if you want to win anything you must use a Digi Darla image.

I used Digi Darla's Grad Guy.  Our youngest is graduating high school in a few weeks.  Come fall that will put 3 in college.

I printed the graduation cap paper from a file I had...don't recall where I found it.  Added some American Craft Glitter Paper to the circle and sentiment.  Then I added the daisy border down the left side and added some red flatback rhinestons to the right hand corners.  The sentiment inside says...There is a good reason they call these ceremonies "commencement exercises." Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning.

Hope to see your project entered in Digi Darla's Anything Goes...using this Sketch challenge.
Hugs, love and prayers

This week's Digi Darla challenge is Inspirational Photo.

To some, an inspirational photo may be new, so let me explain.  Look at the photo above and pull elements out of it to make your project.  I used the color, the pattern on the rug, the ruffle on the basket and the triangle in my card.

I hope to see your project at Digi Darla's Inspirational Photo Challenge.

DDC #10

We are sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads this week and they offer a $10 voucher to Di's Digi Downloads to the winner

Here is a note from Di...
I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Here is my card, using 2 Digi Darla Designs.

I used Digi Darla's Manager of Miracles image and Mommy Time.  The paper is from my stash, the flowers were made on my Cricut and sprayed with Spring Rain Glimmer Mist.  Oh how I love the Glimmer Mist.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you see your project at Digi Darla's Challenge.
Hugs, love and prayers
Chris
