CWLC # 65 Christmas Red and Green

#65
Christmas
All about the Reds and Greens

Good Morning.

It's my turn to hose the challenge.
Since it is the first Monday in November,
I felt we needed a
Christmas challenge.

And while a lot of the Christmas Challenges are
all about non-traditional Christmas colors,
I wanted to go with those traditional colors.

All about the Reds and Greens!!

Our sponsor this week is...

The winner of this challenge will receive
5 images of the winner's choice.

For this challenge I used

Here is my card.

Not sure why it looks like the scalloped circle
under the sentiment circle looks blue.
It is the same color as the scalloped circle on the top.  :(

I colored the image with
Copic Markers....
E31, FRV1, R20, R29, YG09, YG17, 100
and
Gold, Silver and White Gel Pens.

Now if you know me,
you know I have a houseful of cats
(and a couple of birds).
I have 5 black female cats,
1 white male cat,
and a dark calico female cat.
But no brown cats.
So whenever possible,
I color my cats brown.  :)

For this card, I decided to go with a
Scalloped Circle Easel Card.
I love easel cards!!
I have seen a number of them while
commenting on entries.

I had an SVG file for
a scalleoped easel card.
So thought I would give it a try.
The SVG is from

The patterned paper is from
DCWV's
Tis the Season Stack.

The ribbon is from
Micheal's.

The dots on the image are
Rouge and Peacock
Liquid Pearls.

You have till
Saturday, November 9, 2013,
9 PM EST
to enter to win.

Thanks for stopping by....

CWLC #60 Halloween

Created With Love Challenges

Halloween

This week is all about
Halloween.

Our sponsor this week is....

This was inspired by a card I saw online.
I thought I bookmarked it
but I didn't.
So I ended up winging this one on my own.

I used Digi Darla's,
She Devil.

Here is the front of the card.

The patterned paper came out of my scrap drawer.
I have a huge drawer full of patterned paper
that is left over from previous projects.
I need to hit that drawer more before looking at
whole sheets of paper.
The spider wed is from
SVG Cuts...
its called Spider web corner.
The big spider and pumpkin are from JoAnn's.
The 'holes' in the spider have Crystal Stickles
and the pumpkins eyes and mouth are Diamond Black Stickles.
I don't recall where I got the sentiment.

Now for the inside of the card.

The house and front piece are SVGs cut on my Cricut...
Can't recall where from....it was before I started making sure
the name was listed with the file.
 The coffin is from
Digital Delights.
The moon is simply a circle cut on the Cricut.
The image is She Devil,
from Digi Darla.
I colored the image with
Copics
E000, E00, E33, R20, R29, 100
and a gold gel pen.

I made the card so when folded it would be 1.25" thick so it could accommodate the coffin.
The lid of the coffin comes off and candy can be added!!

at

Created with Love Challenges

In honor of April Fools day she has chose
Celebrate April Fools Day...
Make your project funny.

I chose an new Digi Darla image
Naughty Kitty Fish Bowl.

I made a side step card.
Colored the image with my
Prismacolor pencils and OMS.
Added some fish, sentiments and a daffodil.

The fish were a free digi but I can't recall from where.
The daffodil is from SVGcuts

Different Folds...
something you have never done before.

I made the card first.
This is called a card within a card.
After coloring the image,
I added Glossy Accents to the eyes of the horse.
I put Thistle Stickles on the Cowgal's hat, hair tie and boots.
I used foam dots to lift the image off the paper a bit.
I added the resin pink rose to the lower right corner
and made a raffia bow for the upper left corner.

Inside the card, the "Happy Birthday" are cut from designer paper.
Then I added the sentiment to the left side.

Digi Darla Design Team

I have been on Digi Darla's Design Team for a year now, with the exception of a couple of months when I took a leave of absence.  My term is now up and I won't be returning to it. Not sure what I am going to do with my time, but since my Gastric Bypass will be happening in a couple of months, I think I will hold off before making any decisions.

Digi Darla Challenge #12 Anything Goes using this Sketch

Digi Darla's
Challenge #12
Anything Goes...using this Sketch

It's Monday again and time for another Digi Darla challenge.  This time, it's Anything Goes...using this sketch.

Now you can use any image you wish...BUT if you want to win anything you must use a Digi Darla image.

I used Digi Darla's Grad Guy.  Our youngest is graduating high school in a few weeks.  Come fall that will put 3 in college.

I printed the graduation cap paper from a file I had...don't recall where I found it.  Added some American Craft Glitter Paper to the circle and sentiment.  Then I added the daisy border down the left side and added some red flatback rhinestons to the right hand corners.  The sentiment inside says...There is a good reason they call these ceremonies "commencement exercises." Graduation is not the end; it's the beginning.

Hope to see your project entered in Digi Darla's Anything Goes...using this Sketch challenge.
Hugs, love and prayers
Chris

DDC #10

We are sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads this week and they offer a $10 voucher to Di's Digi Downloads to the winner

Here is a note from Di...
I have been drawing since a child and studied graphics at College many years ago, I now work as a Medical photographer part time but my love was always drawing. I started cardmaking about 4yrs ago when I bought my daughter a cardmaking kit which we did together, but I’m afraid I got the bug! My daughter preferred scrapbooking. I then started looking online at other blogs and this then became my passion and I loved sharing my cards with likeminded people.
I love stamping and loved finding images, but sometimes I could not find what I wanted so I started to draw myself.
This then has become my second addiction and I have never looked back, I love thinking of new images, and its just fabulous to see others take them and make them into beautiful works of art. Long may it continue!

Here is my card, using 2 Digi Darla Designs.

I used Digi Darla's Manager of Miracles image and Mommy Time.  The paper is from my stash, the flowers were made on my Cricut and sprayed with Spring Rain Glimmer Mist.  Oh how I love the Glimmer Mist.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you see your project at Digi Darla's Challenge.
Hugs, love and prayers
