Wow, I have been a member of the Design Team
for a month now.
Ok...so why does the title of this post say
but I said Delightful Challenges at the beginning of this post?
Digital Delights is the store.
Delightful Challenges is Digital Delights challenge blog.
The new releases and this week's challenge is all about
SUPER HEROES!!
Our sponsor this week is
For this challenge I used...
and
Here is my card....
I used Copic Markers to color this image
B05, B24, B29, E00, E25, E31, R20 and R29.
The belt buckle and the S on his chest is gold gel pen.
I used the cityscape from the Super Heroes digital paper pack,
sized it to the 4.25" x 5.5".
I used green Whisper Glitter Embossing Power and a heat gun to the edges of the cityscape.
The "Super Hero" is from the Super Hero Accessory Pack
and colored with Copic marker R29.
Something I don't normally do...the inside of the card.
Here I have used the Red POW! paper from the Super Heroes Digital paper.
On the top inside you will find the "POW!" from the
Super Heroes Accessory Pack,
Colored with Copic Marker B05.
The edge is trimmed in Turquoise Stickles.
The mat on the inside bottom is Big Scalloped Rectangles from
Spellbinders Nestabilities.
I sure love my Grand Calibur!!
I recently purchased the We R Memories
Envelope Punch Board!!
So I just HAD to make a matching envelope!!
What good are new tools, if you don't use them??
Now for sure reason I couldn't get the Red Pow! Paper
to print without a border. So the size is off just a tad.
If you look closely you can see one side is off.
Not sure how I managed the line on the paper.
I used 1/4" Scor Tape for the flaps.
I am told 1/8" works just as well...but I don't have any.
