How to make a TeePee Card

The other day I saw a TeePee card.

AMAZING.

Its a card, yet
its a decoration!!
Sit it on a shelf or table
and  instant home deco!!

So I went in search of how to make one.
It is so much easier than it looks.

Here is the first one I made,
using digi's from
Digital Delights',

 To make this card,
also known as a great Halloween Decoration,
you need

  • 12" x 12" black cardstock
  • 12" x 12" patterned paper
  • 3 images
  • closure (I used kool tak Hook and Loop)
  • tape (what every you normally use to assemble cards)
  • embellishmens
  • Scoring tool...I use a Scor-Pal
First you need to cut your black paper,
so you have 3 pieces, measuring 6" x 6".
(Yeap you will have a 6" x 6" piece leftover).

Note...you can make this smaller or bigger...
just make sure all 3 pieces are the same size.

Score each of the 3 pieces on the diagonal and fold.

Cut your patterned paper so you have 2 pieces,
5 3/4" x 5 3/4'.

(You always want to be 1/4" smaller
than your solid piece of card stock)

Cut each piece on the diagonal.
(yeap, you will have one left over)

Adhere your patterned paper to one side of a solid paper.

\I have found it is best to lay the next piece out
before you put the patterned paper on.

Then adhere the pieces together.

Put the third piece in place and adhere

 Add the patterned paper.

You can always fold it up to make sure you have the pieces correct.

Add a closure.
In the one above, I used 2 closures.
It really only needs one.

Then embellish.

The patterned paper for both TeePees is from
K&Company,
TC Halloween and Fall Pad.

The embellishments are from
a Halloween Bling Swap
from years ago.

Hope you have found this tutorial useful.
